The Big Sing Musical Improv Festival brings together amateur and professional improvisers and musicians to teach, share, learn, celebrate, and enjoy the hilarious and magical art of musical improv.

WORKSHOPS

The Big Sing has been carefully tailored to create an inspiring and supportive space for education and co-creation for local and visiting improvisers to explore and hone their craft.

The festival boasts incredible 1-day and 2-day workshops for beginners and professionals alike taught by musical improv masters HEATHER URQUHART, JOE SAMUEL, ALI JAMES, OMAR ARGENTINO, ELLA GALT & JOANNA KUCHARCZYK

SHOWS

The Big Sing features 3 x jam-packed nights of incredible improvised musical theatre and comedy by top local and international groups. Each night the elegant Calabria 66 theatre will be home to the festival’s program of unscripted storytelling through songs, scenes, rap, and even dance. Featuring performances by local and international guests DOBRZY, ŹLI I ŚMIESZNI, QUINTA TINTA OFF, RAINBOW WARRIORS, BARCELONA IMPROV GROUP, COMMISERATION CABARET, FESTIVAL TEACHERS & WORKSHOP SHOWCASE PERFORMANCES.
