Explore the hero’s big dream, the lover’s heartfelt ballad, and the villain’s showstopping anthem- all through the art of improvised song. It’s a joyful, playful space to unleash your voice, try on bold characters, and create catchy, authentic music. No experience needed- just bring your spark and sing your truth.

Lucy Trodd has been performing, teaching and directing improv for over 20 years. As a founder member of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, she specialises in improvised singing and musicals. Lucy is also the founder of FIT- Folkestone Improv Theatre and a regular guest with The Comedy Store Players and Blues Hammer shows. ⁠

Lucy has performed and taught at many international festivals including: Impro Amsterdam, Momenta Leipzig, Karlsruhe Impro Festival, Rome’s Welcome and Colosseum Improv Festivals and 17 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. She created and directed the show format REUNITED: The Band and co-created Dancing For Your Life, Tea Cosy & Whimsy. ⁠

In her classes, she embraces silence and emotion, and leads with kindness whilst giving clear, actionable notes.⁠
